In Loving Memory of…

Coco Oreo-Betancourt

Life with you for the past thirteen years has been nothing short of wonderful. At 3 months old you managed to bring together a family that so desperately needed your love. We could have had any of your other brothers and sisters but you made sure we picked you the moment we saw you and you started biting your mom’s ankles, toes and sandals. You were there through every change we experienced and not once did your love for us stop, even when we brought home Rusty then Giant then Bella and now Lola. We never stopped loving you despite our family expanding and you made it known that you were the HDIC (head dog in charge) at all times, even if that meant you would not get out the kitchen because let’s be honest that was your favorite spot. You managed to protect us, our home, your spot on the couch and most notably your food. You left us suddenly but we knew you were tired and you missed Giant. You knew that your dad would be taken care of since you had taken care of him for so many years, you needed to make sure he would have the love you gave him even if you weren’t here. Our life will never be the same without you and that’s because you kept our life consistently filled with endless amounts of love. We love you, we will never stop missing you and we wish we could have kept you on this earth forever. We hope you found Giant and you two are currently wrestling over pieces of bread. We love you always our Coco.
